Please excuse the chavspeak in the title of this post, but as I am often wont to do, I perused CL this morning for the latest batch of missives from the clinically insane.

'White Lady for White Man - 35 (London)'
Educated white English lady seeking educated white Englishman.
No coloured or foreign.
Thanks.

So...where does her education fit into her life? The text sounds a bit like the signs outside B&Bs in the 1960s, rejecting Asians, Blacks and the Irish.

Another classified included the following text:

'A black woman seeking an attractive Mediterranean/White male with established career, own home in London 34-54. Race unimportant.'

Is it just me, or is there a contradiction there?
